The Manse Retreat

The Manse is our home, a former vicarage dating back to the 1800s. That’s where the name comes from. Over time, it has become a place where people can step away from everything else, feel at ease, and begin to move forward.

Emotional Trauma & PTSD Retreat

You don’t have to relive the past to change how it feels. This is a completely private, 3-day experience designed to help you change how past experiences feel, without needing to talk through everything that happened.

A Private Experience, Designed Around You

This is not a group retreat. You’ll work directly with us, Kim and Carl, in a calm, private setting at The Manse in Northamptonshire. Everything is shaped around you, your experiences, your pace, and what will support you most over the three days.

Your Experience at The Manse

Your time with us is structured across three days, with flexibility built in. We guide the entire process, adjusting things along the way so it feels right for you, without you needing to plan or manage anything.

Day One — Arrival & Preparation

You’ll arrive at The Manse and begin settling into the space. From the moment you step through the door, everything is designed to help you slow down and feel at ease. We’ll introduce how emotional experiences are processed, giving you a clear understanding of what’s happening and why, without needing to revisit the past. The evening is gentle and restorative, helping you unwind and prepare for the work ahead. This may include a massage or Reiki session.

Day Two — Focused One-to-One Work

Day two is dedicated to the core of the experience. You’ll have two extended one-to-one sessions with Carl, working through the specific memories or experiences you want to change. These sessions are structured and guided, focusing on changing how those experiences feel, without needing to talk through everything in detail.

In the evening, you’ll be supported through deeply relaxing experiences, which may include light-based sessions, sound-based work, guided imagery, or massage.

Day Three — Integration

The final day is designed to support integration and help you move forward with clarity. This may include EEG-based sessions and hypnotherapy, helping to reinforce the changes made and support you as you prepare to leave. By this point, many people already notice a shift in how things feel.

No two retreats are the same. We don’t follow a fixed schedule or ask you to choose from a menu. Instead, we guide you through a structured process, introducing the right elements at the right time based on what will support you most. You’re never left wondering what to do next. We guide the entire experience from start to finish.

Your Environment

The setting matters more than people often realise. The Manse is not just where the work takes place, it’s part of the experience itself. You’ll stay in a private, comfortable ensuite room, designed to feel calm, quiet, and removed from everyday life.

Meals are prepared by Kim, a qualified nutritional therapist, with a focus on simple, nourishing food to support you throughout your stay.

After Your Retreat

Your experience doesn’t end when you leave The Manse. We continue to support you as things settle and integrate, so you’re not left to navigate it on your own.

Following your retreat, you’ll receive:

  • Guided materials explaining The Manse Method® and emotional trauma

  • A hypnosis recording to support ongoing change

  • A follow-up call around six weeks later

This helps reinforce the changes and supports you as you continue moving forward with clarity and confidence.

The investment for the 3-day private retreat is £3.497 (payment plan available on request).
